Regional Symposia
Overview
Within the past decade, new tools have become available for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with epilepsy. In addition, new management strategies and updated guidelines for the treatment of epilepsy have been established. During each symposium, an interdisciplinary panel of distinguished leaders in the field of epilepsy will review the epidemiology, diagnosis, and evaluation of epilepsy. Additionally, updates will be provided regarding guidelines and emerging trends in the treatment of epilepsy. Workshops will provide a venue for participants to interact with experts in discussion of current issues and future directions in epilepsy management. The goal of the symposia is to enhance participants’ knowledge base of epilepsy and its management, as well as optimize their skills in epilepsy care by demonstrating practical application of diagnostic tools and therapeutic options.
