Annual Meeting
The AES Annual Meeting, first held in 1946, is the Society’s primary vehicle for the promotion of research and dissemination of new knowledge about seizures and epilepsy. It is the largest international meeting on epilepsy and draws an attendance of approximately 4,000 physicians and scientists. Held each year in early December, the meeting includes more than 1,000 scientific reports. An online archive of contributed annual meeting reports has been maintained on the AES Web site since 2000. The archive is the most extensive and comprehensive epilepsy-specific information resource anywhere and complements the PubMed/MEDLINE index of published articles on the disorder.
