Epilepsy/EEG Fellowship Position Available

The Department of Neurology at the University of Texas Houston Medical School has a position open for the 2008-2009 fellowship in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. The fellowship position is for one to two years and begins July 1st.
This fellowship is designed to train physicians in detailed assessment of patients with epilepsy in anticipation of surgical treatment. Additional emphasis on medication selection, anti-epilepsy drug development, and sleep medicine is provided. Rotations include Electroencephalography (EEG), inpatient Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, Sleep Medicine, and Research. Fellows are given the choice to include an optional Magnetoencephalography (MEG) rotation. Salary range is $45k - $48k annually.
