Provide a didactic experience in epilepsy that appeals to basic scientists, clinical investigators, practicing neurologists and neurologic nurses. Include basic science and clinical advances in topics with greater emphasis on clinical aspects of epilepsy. Proceedings of the Course are published as a supplement to Epilepsia.

Specific Responsibilities:
- To plan the Annual Courses that takes place during the Annual Meeting. Review participant evaluations to identify needs of membership, potential speakers and topics. Recruit speakers and collect slide presentations.
- To develop and execute a full day symposium geared to the neurologist, epileptologist, and professionals caring for persons with epilepsy.
Goals/Strategy:
- Enhance the Annual Meeting to better meet the needs of membership, including basic neuroscientists, clinical researchers, those in clinical practice, and professionals in epilepsy care.
- Provide/increase opportunities for focuses/specialized learning.
